Pulwama boy bags Silver Medal in State level championship

Srinagar: An athlete from Pulwama has won Silver medal in State level Taekwondo championship held in Jammu and is all set to represent JK at National level.
Athlete Hafiz Mohammed Asif son of Mohammad Ramzan Bhat resident of Naina Batpora in Pulwama district has been selected to represent JK at the national level, his family said.
He has won silver medal in 22nd state level Taekwondo championship that was held at Indoor Stadium University of Jammu from 12 to 15th of this month.
Asif, who is awaiting for his B.A 5th and 6th semester results said that he has already represented JK at national level twice and bagged medals besides representing India at International level at Karate championship in Japan last year.
“I am very happy that I have got one more opportunity to represent JK at national level and I hope I will perform well to make everyone proud,” Asif said.
