India, Pakistan armies’ trade fire

Jammu: India and Pakistan armies’ on Saturday traded gunfire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu region.
Reports said that India’s Border Security Force and Pakistan Ranger exchanged fire at Chakra village in Hiranagar sector, lasted for over two-and-a-half hours.
Official said that there was no report of any casualty on the Indian side, adding that the Pakistan Rangers also fired dozens of mortars.
The exchange of fire came a day after, a villager was killed and four others were injured along the Line of Control in Shahpur sector of Poonch district. (KNT)
