Vehicle collision in Reasi leaves 16 injured
Jammu: At least 16 persons including 14 pilgrims from Uttar Pradesh were injured on Tuesday in a head-on collision between two vehicles in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said.
The accident took place near Sulla Park on the Reasi-Katra road when the two mini-buses, moving in opposite directions collided with each other, a police officer said.
One of the vehicles was carrying 14 pilgrims, mostly from Lucknow who were heading for Shiv Khouri temple to offer prayers.
The injured were shifted to hospital and are undergoing treatment, the officer said.
