Srinagar: Authorities sealed a shop owned by a Kashmir Pandit on Friday. The shop was run by a local Muslim since 1990 in Habakadal area of Srinagar city.

Official sources said that a local Muslim from Ganpatyar Habakadal, Muhammad Amin was running the shop owned by a Pandit Yogindar Kundra from the past three decades. “Tehsidar Srinagar sealed the shop as the occupant failed to produce the legal documents. The shop will be handed over to the real owner,” said an official.

However, locals from the area said that the occupant was running the shop with the consent of the owner and he was paying monthly rent to him. (KNT)
