Youth Cong leader’s house ransacked
Anantnag: A group of miscreants ransacked the house of a youth Congress leader on Friday night in south Kashmir district of Kulgam, where vehicle of a Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) was set on fire early during the day.
Official sources said that a group of miscreants entered the house of Congress leader Reyaz Ahmad Bhat at Manigam, Kulgam late last night and ransacked it.
“The miscreants later escaped under the cover of darkness,” they said, adding it was not immediately clear whether Bhat and his family were in the house or not when the incident took place.
Police has registered a case and started investigation, they added.
Early on Friday, miscreants set on fire a vehicle of BJP district Kulgam secretary Abid Hussain Khan at Bonagam in Kulgam. Another vehicle parked nearby was also damaged in the fire.
