Posters in Tral ask SPO’s to leave their jobs
Pulwama: Purported posters attributed to militant outfits appeared in different parts of Tral town of South Kashmir’s Pulwama on Saturday. The posters warned Special Police Officers (SPO’s) of dire consequences in case they continue with their jobs in the police.
The posters asked SPOs to leave their jobs or face consequences, reports said.
Official sources said that these threatening posters attributed to militant organizations were removed shortly after they appeared.
“We are investigating the matter and those responsible for this mischief will be arrested,” said an official.
After the abrogation of Article 370, threatening posters started appearing in different parts of Kashmir. These posters were being used to inform shopkeepers and others to keep away from conducting their normal business and other trade related activities. (KNT)
