Troops recover automatic rifle from encounter site
Anantnag: Forces on Monday recovered an automatic rifle from the encounter sit here in Bijbehara town of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district, sources said
Notably, last week at least three local militants were killed in a fierce gunfight in Pazalpora village of Bijbehara. They were identified as Nasir Chadru, Aqib Hajam and Zahid Hussain from militant outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba.
Official sources said that a combing search operation of encounter site was launched during wee hours on Monday and during the search operation an INSAS rifle was recovered from the debris of the house.
Forces had recovered two rifles from the encounter site last week. (KNT)
