Petrol bomb hurled on CRPF bunker
Srinagar: Unknown persons hurled a petrol bomb on a CRPF bunker in Sopore area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district, reports said Friday.
Sources said that after a stone-pelting incident, a petrol bomb was hurled towards the troopers bunker that created panic in the area. The troopers from 171Battalion CRPF fired some tear-smoke shells to disperse the youth who continued to resort to stone-pelting.
The traffic on the road disappeared after the incident. Meanwhile, locals alleged that troopers smashed the windowpanes of their houses without any provocation. (KNT)
