Security put at max alert, drones used for surveillance in Batamaloo
Srinagar: Security has been put on maximum alert in Srinagar on Saturday following the panic situation that erupted due to the cancellation of Amarnath yatra and governments security advisory asking tourists and yatris to leave the valley immediately.
Following the advisory people in the valley went into a panic mode as people stocked rations, fuel and other essentials.
Meanwhile, security has been put on maximum alert following yesterday’s developments.
Police sources said that deployments have been increased across the vital places in Srinagar.
In Batamaloo area of the city security men were seen using a drone for conducting a survey in the area early morning.
