Several deputations meet Chairman LC at Zanskar
SRINAGAR: Scores of public deputations Wednesday met Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council Haji Anayat Ali, who is on a two-day tour of Zanskar in Kargil district.
Deputations from Rangdum, Rangdum Gonpa, Tashi Stongday, Abran, and Aating areas of Zanskar projected their issues and grievances before the Chairman Legislative Council.
The Chairman gave a patient hearing to the deputations and assured that he will take up the listed issues with the concerned quarters for their redressal.
On the occasion, Haji Anayat Ali lauded the Governor’s administration for launching various developmental works and projects in Kargil like sanctioning of Rs 200 crore for extension of Kargil Airport, allotting important headquarters under divisional status decision for Ladakh to Kargil, sanctioning of Women’s College and taking up many languishing projects under JKIFD.
