PDP committed to end political instability in JK: Rafi Mir

Anantnag: People’s Democratic Party Chief Spokesperson and Former MLA Pahalgam Rafi Ahmad Mir said that the party was “committed to end the political instability in Jammu and Kashmir”.
A PDP statement said that Mir was speaking while welcoming Sarpanches and Party workers of National Conference into the party fold.
PDP, Mir said, had offered its “unconditional support to all regional political parties to rise above politics and to ensure that a consensus is evolved in addressing the growing political insecurity”.
Mir said that there were “larger issues of political insecurity that are highly questionable”.
He said that “beyond the rumour-mongering and the absence of an elected government, a consensus needs to be evolved on various political issues”.
On this occasion, Mir urged the party cadre to launch a “vast contact program and reach out to the masses”.
Mir said that party workers and activists needed to play a key role in strengthening the party and that the party activists needed to work at grassroots for restoring party’s vibrant identity in the state.
“People feel politically alienated due to broken promises of the leaders and all regional parties needed to rise to the occasion and ensure justice through public service,” he added.
S per Mie, PDP had an “inclusive roadmap for the development of Pahalgam and urged the party youth members and the new entrants to establish a strong contact with the general public for redressing public grievances at doorsteps.”
