NC grieved over demise of partymen

JAMMU: National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Mr Omar Abdullah on Tuesday expressed grief over the passing away of Nizam-ud-Din Bhat, former National Conference Vice President District Kishtwar and Nischant Singh, former Block President Samba.
A statement issued by NC on Tuesday said that Bhat had “tirelessly worked for strengthening the party and serving the people during the stewardship of Sher-e-Kashmir Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah as Block President Thathri and lateron as National Conference Vice President District Kishtwar”.
The deceased was father of Shamim Ahmed Bhat, National Conference Block President Thathri, Kishtwar.
Dr Farooq and Omar conveyed their condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for peace to the departed souls.
The deaths were also mourned by senior leaders and various units of National Conference.
Ali Mohd Sagar General Secretary and Dr Sheikh Mustafa Kamaal Additional General Secretary have also conveyed their heartfelt condoles the bereaved families.
Besides Provincial President Jammu, Devendra Singh Rana, those who conveyed condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for peace to the departed souls include Surjeet Singh Salathia, Ajay Kumar Sadhotra, Sheikh Bashir Ahmad, Khalid Najeeb Suharwardy, Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo, Qazi Jalal Ud Din, Dr. Chaman Lal, Tanveer Ahmed Kichloo, Mohd Iqbal Bhat, Sajjad Shaheen, Satwant Kour Dogra, Mohinder Singh, Shabir Kamal, Reyaz Bhaderwahi, Syed Asgar Ali, Pyare Lal Sharma, Mehboob Iqbal, Reyaz Zargar, Tanveer Hussain Babazda, Arif Mir, Abid Magrey, Farooq Qazi and D.D Farooq.
