Police arrests wanted drug dealer in Sopore

Sopore, July 30 : Police claimed to have arrested the most wanted drug dealer in Sopore town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday.
Reports said that a police team headed by Dysp Sopore Majid Bhat and SHO Azim Iqbal arrested the most wanted drug dealer in Sopore town and recovered huge quantity of illegal drugs from his possession.
A police officer while confirming the news said “ we have arrested a wanted drug dealer of north Kashmir. he was identified as Arif Hassan Lone s/o Abdul Hameed Lone of Lorihama Rafiabad.
Police also claimed recovery of contraband 15000 Dicyclomine fortaspas and tramadol Hcl capsules.
Pertinently, Sopore police since past month had apprehended many drug peddlers and among three were booked under Public Safety Act.
