All party meet will be a welcome step: Muzzafar Shah
Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Awami National Conference senior vice-president Muzaffar Shah welcomed the proposal of convening All Parties Meet in the state.
In a statement, senior vice-president of J&K Awami National Conference Muzaffar Shah said he, “as a representative of J&K Awami National Conference wholeheartedly welcome this move”.
Shah said he was “very happy to hear this news that two former chief ministers of the state Dr Farooq Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti have expressed their concern over the crucial situation prevalent over the valley and have decided to chalk out future strategy”.
He said union of two former CM’s was a “good omen for the state”.
“I hope the intentions that both leaders have put up for protection of states interest, will be executed in letter and spirit,” he added.
