DIC Jammu hosts awareness camp on PM-SYM
JAMMU: Industries & Commerce Department Thursday organised an awareness camp here at Panchayat Ghar, Bhatindi, to sensitise the workers of unorganized sector workers about Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maan-dhan (PM-SYM).
General Manager, DIC, Jammu Namrita Dogra supervised the Camp, which was attended by the workers from different fields of activities including labourers, shopkeepers & other workers participated.
Functional Manager, DIC, Jammu Arshad Noomani, highlighted the objective of the newly launched scheme. He informed gathering that the PMSYM was launched by Government of India to insure unorganised workers and provide them financial protection in the old age in the form of pension.
