Srinagar: Government forces on Thursday claimed to have arrested Over Ground Workers (OGWs) of Hizb-ul-Mujahideen during Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Turuk Nad Tukpora village of Bandipora in north Kashmir.

Officials said that the duo were nabbed from an Apple orchard in the area.

The arrested have been identified as Mohd Saleem Gojar, son of Ab Aziz Gojar of Turuk Nad Turknad and Mohd Ismail of Rajouri.

The CASO was launched in the area, police official said, over an input that militants are hiding in the area. During searches the duo were arrested.

Officials claimed that arms and ammunition have been recovered from their possession as well.
