Two minors drown in Jhelum in Sumbal, one rescued another missing
Bandipora: Two boys drowned in river Jhelum in Shilwat area of Sumbal in Bandipora district on Wednesday. While one of the boys has been rescues, other one is still missing.
A seniir police officer told KNO that the two minor boys, Mohammad Kafeel (08) and Mohammad Shafiq (14) both residents of Kalakote Rajouri area of Jammu slipped into the river while they were playing on its banks.
“Kafeel was saved by timely intervention of the locals and police while Shafiq is still missing,” the official told KNO. He said the search for another drowned boy is still underway. (KNO)
