Summer vacations end today, no extension ordered
Srinagar: Government on Wednesday clarified that the summer vacations in schools that conclude today have not been extended and the class work will resume in the educational institutes.
“There would be no extension in the summer vacations that ends on Wednesday,” Secretary School Education Department, Sarita Chouhan said on Wednesday.
Summer vacations were announced by the education department from July 15-24.
Social Media networks had been abuzz with rumors that the education department has extended the summer vacations however officials have asked people not to heed any rumor mongering.
