India, Pakistan armies exchange heavy gunfire along LOC in Poonch
Jammu: Indian and Pakistan armies are exchanging gunfire along Line of Control in Poonch, Krishna Ghati, Mankote & Mendhar Sectors in District Poonch since Tuesday noon.
An official said that the Pakistan army resorted to ceasefire violation in Poonch sector of LOC at about 1220 hours.
“Thereafter second cease fire violation of the day by Shelling with Mortars along LoC in Krishna Ghati, Mankote & Mendhar Sectors in District Poonch(J&K),” he said.
The official claimed that the Indian army is responding in the ‘befitting manner’.
