25-year old motorcyclist dies in road mishap
Poonch: A 25-year old motorcyclist died in a road mishap at Pass Potha area of Surankote in Poonch district late Sunday night.
Reports reaching GNS said that the motorbike (JK02-2931) skidded off the road and turned turtle resulting in on the spot death of the motorcyclist.
The mishap occurred at around 2:00 am when the he was coming from Mendhar towards Sanai.
Confirming it, a police officer said that the body was taken to SDH Surankote for legal medico formalities.
The officer identified the deceased as Sajid Ali Shah (25) son of Kabir Hussain Shah of Dabraj Mendhar.
He said that a case under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigations taken up. (GNS)
