JKPCC grieved over Sheila Dixit’s demise
Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) has expressed grief over the passing away of ex- New Delhi Chief Minister and Congress leader, Sheila Dixit.
Mir conveyed condolences to bereaved family on behalf of rank and file of the JKPCC.
In a condolence message, the JKPCC President termed Dixit’s demise as a great loss to Congress Party.
“Dixit was a visionary and popular face of the Party in the Country, she has served the people of Delhi and Congress Party to the best of her ability,” Mir said.
The deceased, he said, was a dedicated and loyal Congress leader.
“She will always be remembered for her vision and leadership qualities,” Mir added.
Praying for peace to the departed soul, Mir also expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.
Meanwhile, former PCC President Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed also condoled the passing away of Dixit and paid rich tributes to the departed.
Sayeed called Dixit a great personality and visionary.
He conveyed deepest condolences to bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to departed soul.
