Boy drowns in Jehlum river at Baramulla
Baramulla, July 21 : A 17-year-old boy drowned in river Jhelum at Drangbal area of Baramulla district on Sunday afternoon.
Reports said a 17 year old boy identified as Momin Manzoor son of Manzoor Ahmed Dar of Jalsheeri Baramulla was bathing in the Jhelum when he drowned.
They said that police and locals have started rescue operation to retrieve the body.
A Police officer also confirmed the incident saying that a rescue team has been sent to the area to trace out the boy. (GNS)
