Poonch: A 13-year-old youth Thursday drowned here in the river Drungli in district Poonch of the Jammu division of the state.
The minor has been identified as Nazakat Hussain son of Khadim Hussain, and is a resident of Nangli village in the district.
The youth had taken to the river to bathe, reports said.
Incharge Police Post Bandichian, Ikhlaq Hussain Shah told GNS that they have launched rescue operations.
