BJP’s policies, public dealings widely accepted by people: Ashok Koul
Srinagar: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State General Secretary Monday said that the party’s policies and working atmosphere and public dealings had been “widely accepted by the general public, which was why they voted BJP to power again” at the centre.
He was addressing people at a membership drive at Baramulla organised by the party.
The function was organized by In-charge North Kashmir Mudasir Wani.
A BJP statement said that “Hundreds of new entrants joined BJP on the occasion”.
Koul asked party workers to have faith on party leadership in the state for the better functioning of the party.
He told the party workers that the special focus of the drive was to reach out to the weaker sections of the society and associate them with the party and its programmes.
The membership drive was launched on July 6 by BJP leaders across the country. A separate mobile number has been made public for people to give a missed call to express their desire to join the party.
Koul said the BJP’s primary membership can be enrolled through a missed call on the toll free number 8980808080.
He also appealed to people to participate in the campaign to bring about pleasant change in the country.
