Clashes amid CASO in Khudwani Kulgam

Kulgam : Clashes erupted amid cordon and search operation in Wani Mohalla locality of Khudwani area in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Monday.
“As soon as forces launched CASO in the area, youth took to streets and started pelting stones on government forces which was retialated by police with tear gas canisters,” reports said.
Earlier, on specific inputs about the presence of militants, a joint team of forces including Ist/09RR, CRPF and SOG launched search operation in the area.
Locals told KNO that door to door search operation amid clashes was going on in the area.(KNO)
