Burglars decamp with goods worth crores from a dry fruit shop in Sopore

Sopore:  Burglars struck at a dry fruit shop during the intervening night of Friday and Saturday, and decamped with goods worth lakhs of rupees in north Kashmir’s Sopore town.
The shop is owned by Bashir Ahmad Zargar at goal market main Chowk Sopore and decamped with dry fruit items, an inverter, and battery.
Zargar said that he was informed by locals about the loot.
“When I reached there and the shutter broken, dry fruit items worth lakhs and inverter was missing from the shop” the owner said.
Burglary incidents have been on rise in the Sopore town, leading to protests by the shopkeepers, who have been demanding strict action by police.
President Economic Alliance Sopore Haji Muhammad Ashraf Ganaie expressed his anger, and  said that administration has failed to check on these incidents in town.
Police in this regard has registered the cases and started manhunt to nab the culprits.
