Talent hunt event ‘Choona Hai Aasman’ held at Awantipora
Awantipora: Police on Thursday organized a talent hunt event ‘Choona Hai Aasman’ at District Police Lines Awantipora.
A large number of participants from different institutions of the district participated in the event were categorized in three age groups of 5-12 years, 13-18 years and 19-25 years.
Senior officers from police and civi administration and citizens of the adjacent areas were also present at the event.
On the occasion, SSP Awantipora Tahir Saleem said that youth of the valley were youth full of talent and they need to be motivated to excel in different fields.
He said that the sole objective of such programmes was to provide a platform to those children who are otherwise unable to explore opportunity to showcase their talent before the world.
On the conclusion, trophies and cash rewards were distributed among the winners in each age group.
