Kashmiri Pandits who met Mirwaiz over there return not real representatives of the community: BJP
Srinagar: Bharatiya Janata Party’s spokesman for Kashmir affairs Ashwini Kumar Chrungoo on Friday said that the Kashmiri Pandit delegation that had met Hurriyat Conference chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq recently were not the “real representatives of Pandits.
“I want Hurriyat to first contribute eradicating the mess left by mainstream parties over the past 70 years,” he said.
The BJP, he said is for creating peaceful atmosphere in Kashmir and then starting a dialogue with government, KPs and others for the smooth return of Pandits.
He expressed hope that women were feeling liberal in Kashmir especially in Srinagar and hoped that peace and prosperity will soon be a reality in Kashmir.
