Three drug peddlers held in Sopore, Ganderbal
Sopore/ Ganderbal: Police on Wednesday arrested 3 drug peddlers in Sopore and Ganderbal districts.
While two of them were arrested in Sopore, the 3rd drug peddler was arrested in Ganderbal.
In Sopore, the duo-Abdul Hameed Mir and Bilal Ahmed Chopan both residents of Janwara Sopore- was arrested at a checkpoint at Warpora.
They have been shifted to Police Station Sopore where they remain in custody.
An FIR under relevant sections of law has been registered and initiated investigations in the matter.
In Ganderbal, the drug peddler identified as Nawab Khan resident of Wangat Kangan was arrested at a checkpoint and has been shifted to Police Station Kangan where he remains in custody.
Police recovered 150 gm charas from his possession.
They have also registered an FIR against him under relevant sections of law .
