Police arrests bootlegger in Ganderbal, recovers illicit liquor
Ganderbal: Police on Saturday claimed to have arrested a non local bootlegger in Kangan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district and have also recovered illicit liquor from his possession, a police spokesman said.
He said that the arrest was made during a naka checking at Power house Kangan.
The arrested bootlegger has been identified as Suleiman Hashim Ansari@ Danish son of Hashim Ansari resident of Najeeb Abad Bijnoor UP presently residing at Tawheed pora Kangan.
A case has been registered FIR NO 37/2019 US 48 EXCISE Act in police station Kangan and investigation has been taken up, the spokesman added.
