NC protests ‘acute shortage’ of water, electricity in Jammu region
Jammu: Reeta Gupta Provincial Secretary NC held a protest in Ward 3 of Jammu East Constituency recently against the “acute shortage of drinking water and erratic power scenario across Jammu region”.
Gupta said the problem was compounded especially in urban areas of the region. She urged the government to redress the problems as people were suffering during the ongoing scorching summer.
“Unscheduled power cuts are order of the day and there is no hope of improvement in the coming days,” she said while addressing party workers at the protest programme.
Bimla Malhotra, Shashi Sharma, Usha, Sushma Gulati also participated in the protest.
