Mir greets people on Guru Hargobind’s birth anniversary
Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G A Mir has greeted people on the birth anniversary of Guru Hargobind Singh.
While paying tributes to Guru Hargobind on his birth anniversary which is being celebrated on Friday, Mir described the Sikh Guru as an apostle of peace and harmony.
He said that Guru Hargobind always fought against injustice and social inequality while dedicating his entire life to the service of people, irrespective of their caste or religion.
“The teachings of Guru ji will continue to lead the people at the path of truthfulness and righteousness, besides enlightening them about right and wrong,” he said.
Mir on the occasion also prayed for peace and stability in the country and Jammu and Kashmir.
