Four gamblers arrested in Srinagar
Srinagar: Police in Srinagar on Wednesday raided a gambling site and arrested 4 gamblers.
The accused have been identified as Muneer Ahmad Bangroo resident of Nowshera, Sahil Ahmad Ganie resident of Soura, Fayaz Ahmad Gagloo resident of Bemina and Aijaz Ahmad Sheikh resident of Chattabal.
They were arrested following a credible input about gambling activities in Chinar Bagh area of the city.
Police also seized playing cards and a stake amount of Rs 6,500 from the gamblers’ possession.
An FIR under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Kothibagh.
