Progress on land requisition cases reviewed
JAMMU: Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Sanjeev Verma Saturday convened a meeting with concerned officers to review the progress on land requisition cases of Army, CRPF, BSF and other departments.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh Kumar, DIG CRPF, S P Singh, VC JDA, Vikas Sharma ACR Samba, Kulbushan Khajuria besides Registrar Jammu University, Registrar Cluster University and senior functionaries of Army, BSF, Handicraft and other concerned departments.
All the head of the departments present in the meeting informed the Div Com about the requirement of land for different purposes. Registrar Cluster University informed that they require land for establishment of Cluster University.
DC informed that land measuring 248 Kanal has been identified for CRPF and they are in process of transfer of land.
The Div Com asked the DC and VC JDA to identify the land for which requirements has been received. He further asked the departments concerned for taking possession on already identified land.
