Bootlegger held in Ganderbal
Ganderbal: Police on Friday arrested a bootlegger in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
The accused identified as Showkat Ahmad Kasana son of Tuta Kasana resident of Poshkar, Kangan was arrested during a checkpoint at Poshkar area of Kangan and has been taken to Police Station Kangan where he remains in custody.
Police also recovered 13 bottles of illicit liquor from his possession.
An FIR under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Kangan and investigation has been initiated.
