Police arrest four youth for injuring officer, damage to CCTV cameras
Srinagar: Police on Monday arrested four youth for allegedly damaging CCTV cameras and inflicting injuries to a police officer in Kashmir capital Srinagar.
A police spokesperson said that they had busted a group of youth involved in stone-pelting incidents and causing damage to public property in Rainawari area of Srinagar city.
“This group had caused extensive damage to CCTV cameras installed in Rainawari, besides inflicting serious injuries to Station House Officer Rainawari. The group was also active in lobbing Molotov Cocktails on Forces and Police during de-induction from the area,” he added. (CNS)
