Three-day ‘Capacity Building Training Prog’ for police officers commences
Srinagar: A three day ‘Capacity Building Training Programme’ was Wednesday kick started by J&K Police in association with National Investigation Agency at Conference Hall of PCR Kashmir for the officers of J&K Police.
The inaugural session of the training programme was attended by 36 police officers including 5 Superintendents of Police, 15 Deputy Superintendents of Police, 15 Inspectors and a Sub Inspector.
On the occasion, basic investigation techniques were discussed threadbare.
Besides, use of scientific methods during investigation was also highlighted and officers were also briefed about use of modern technology in investigation of cases especially cyber crime cases.
At the conclusion of the session, IGP Kashmir addressed the participants and asked them to follow the investigation techniques in letter and spirit to increase the conviction rate considerably.
