Army truck injures 4-yr old in Qazigund, protests erupt
Qazigund: A minor was injured after an army vehicle hit him at Wuzur area of Qazigund in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Thursday morning.
Massive protests have erupted in the area against Army.
The injured has been identified as 4-year old Muzamil Ahmad Wagay son of Ghulam Hassan Wagay a resident of Wuzur Qazigun.
Eye witnesses said that the vehicle that hit Muzammil was part of a convoy, and after injuring him he fled away from the spot.
Srinagar-Jammu highway has been blocked by angry protesters who are demanding strict action against army personnel involved.
According to KNO police sources have said that ‘the matter was resolved in consultation with public.’
