Drug peddler arrested in Sopore
Sopore: Police Thursday arrested a drug peddler and recovered contraband from his possession.
The accused- identified as Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din, son of Abdul Ahad Dar, a resident of Ladoora- has been taken to Police Station Dangiwacha where he remains in custody.
Police said it also recovered “some quantity of brown sugar and cash of Rs 8,250 from his possession”.
An FIR under relevant sections of law has also been registered in Police Station Dangiwacha and investigation has been taken up.
