Police solve burglary case, recover stolen property

Baramulla: Police Wednesday claimed to have solved a burglary case “in shortest possible time” and recovered stolen property including mobile phones and cash.
Over a complaint about a burglary on the intervening night of June 9 and 10 at Main Market, Uri and , police had registered an FIR under relevant sections of law.
“While investigating the case, officers from the Police Station visited the scene of crime. During further course of investigation, the investigating team questioned one suspect namely Shakoor Ahmad, son of Mohammad Maqbool resident of Garkote Uri,” a police statement said.
Upon investigating, the police learnt about the involvement of the accused in the case “and eventually stolen property including mobile phones and cash was recovered from his possession”.
