Transporters’ strike effects life in state
Jammu: Transporters across Jammu and Kashmir are observing Chakka-Jam today against the governments decision to install GPS device in the commercial vehicles and Awantipora toll-post on Jammu-Srinagar highway.
The call was given by the All Transporter Union .
Reports said that members of Transport Union on Wednesday damaged several windowpanes of commercial vehicles at Bikram Chowk for not following the Bandh.
Meanwhile, the administration has pressed the SRTC fleet on all roads to facilitate commuters facing hardships. KNO
