MeT predicts downpour accompanied with thunderstorms
Srinagar: The MeT department in Srinagar has predicted widespread to moderate rains with thunderstorm during the next 24 to 36 hrs in all Districts of the state.
The peak downpour will be noted on 11th(night) and 12th, a MeT spokesman said. he said that the downpour may lead to to landslides on Zojila, Ramban-Banihal Highways.
The spokesman said that moderate to heavy shower is also likely to be recorded on the Amarnath route both Phalgam and Baltal Axis. The spokesman however, predicted a significant decrease from 13th forenoon.
