Budgam youth allegedly beaten-up, shifted to SMHS
Srinagar, 9 June : A youth was allegedly beaten up by Army in Central Kashmir’s Pakherpora Budgam on Saturday evening.
The youth has been identified as Adil Nazir, 20, son of Nazir Ahmad Ganai, a resident of Check e Karapora.
“He was on way to his home when he was stopped by 53 RR personnel at Shankerpora Pakherpora, who beat him ruthlessly,” said a protestors.
He has been referred from sub-district hospital Pakherpora to SMHS hospital for further medical attention,” they said.
Meanwhile, Hospital sources said that the condition of the boy is out of danger and he is in a stable condition.
However, when contacted concerned SHO Charar e Sharief, Mudasir Ahmad said that “details in this regard are being ascertained”.(KNO)
