Panjran Litter encounter: Two more bodies recovered, toll three, search on
Pulwama : Two more dead bodies have been recovered from encounter site in Panjran Litter area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
“One militant body was recovered after initial exchange of fire, ” official said, adding that two more were hiding in a residential house which was blasted later.
“Bodies were recovered from the debris of the house, ” he said.
Identity of the killed militants has not been released by police yet.
Gunfight between the two sides broke out during cordon-and-search operation, that was launched by a joint team of Army’s 44 RR and SOG Lassipora.
