Man found dead in Bandipora’s forests
Bandipora: A young man who had gone missing on Friday afternoon in Doban Onagam village of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district was found dead in upper reaches of Doban area of district on Saturday, police said.
Police sources said that Chachee Chowan son of Rajwali Chowan, a resident of Doban village had gone to the nearby forest yesterday afternoon to collect firewood but didn’t return home.
“His family members and locals started a search and his body was found in the upper reaches of Douban area,” sources said.
Meanwhile, an official said that Chachee might had fallen from a tree and died on the spot.
“We have recorded the statement of the locals and family members of the deceased and started investigation,” the official added.
