Sopore, Jun 01 : Forces launched a cordon and search operation in Sopore village of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday evening.

Reports said that a joint team of army’s 22 RR, special operation group of police (SOG) and CRPF jointly launched search operation at Warpora Sopore this evening and conducted house to house search operation in the area.

SSP Sopore Javeed Iqbal confirmed the search operation and said following suspicious movement in the area searches were launched in the area.

Pertinently, two Local militants were killed in a gunfight with government forces at Dangerpora village of Sopore on Thursday.
