CASO underway in twin villages of Bandipora
Bandipora: Government forces have laid siege over twin villages Suderkoot bala and Koota Sathri of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Friday morning.
Reports said that Army’s 13 RR, Jammu and Kashmir police’s counter insurgency force and other paramilitary forces launched cordon and search operation in the two villages to flush out ‘any hiding militant’.
“Door-to-door searches are underway in both the areas,” official said.
Official sources also confirmed the both incident and said that the cordon was launched following inputs about the movement of some suspected militants.
