Sopore CASO update: Selected edu institutions closed, internet suspended
Sopore: Amid Cordon and Search Operation under progress in Dangerpora village of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, district administration has order suspension of class work in selected education institutions. Mobile internet in the area has been suspended as well.
Joint team of Army’s 22 RR, special operation group of police (SOG) and CRPF are jointly conducting the operation while door to door searches are underway in the area.
Additional District Magistrate Sopore ordered suspension of class work in three education institution including Govt Boys & Girls HR secondary school Sopore, Govt HR. Secondry school Dangerpora in Tehsil Dangerpora and Govt Degree college Sopore.
The decision to close the schools, they said, has been taken keeping in view the law and order situation.
Meanwhile mobile internet in the region has been suspended.
Internet suspension has also effected Handwara areas including Mawar and Langate.
