Army Major dies of cardiac arrest in Machil sector
Srinagar, May 29 (GNS): An army officer died due to cardiac arrest in Machil sector along Line of Control (LoC) of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Tuesday, police sources said.
A police official said that the army officer of Major rank identified as Rahul Singh (32), suffered cardiac arrest at 57 RR headquarter where he was posted.
He was immediately shifted to a nearby health facility of army where from he was later referred 92 base hospital Badamibagh, Srinagar for specialized treatment. However, later the officer died, he said. (GNS)
