Three Arrested With Heroine, Vehicle Seized At Lakhanpur
Jammu: Police on Monday arrested three persons and recovered about 500 gram of heroine at Lakhanpur.
Reports reaching GNS said that a team of police and sleuths of Excise Department stopped a vehicle and during searches about 500 gm of heroine was found in it.
A police officer told GNS that the operation was launched by a joint team of Jammu and Lakhanpur Police.
He confirmed that the vehicle Wagon-R (No DL 12, CH- 7129) was seized and 500 gm of heroine was recovered.
In this connection, three persons were arrested, he said, adding that a case under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigations taken up. (GNS)
